After spending a disappointing night at the Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton for a pre cruise stay, we had a very easy journey to the ship, where we could park a couple of minutes walk away from the terminal. Embarkation was really easy, with no lines, and we only had to wait fro around 15 minutes before boarding began.

We have sailed on Eclipse before, and once again we were delighted to be back onboard. The ship is beautiful, with grand public areas and great levels of customer service. From the welcome champagne, to the exquisite food, Celebrity really do know how to roll out the red carpet!

We were staying in a Concierge Class Cain 9296, midship with a balcony, and as the cabin is on the bump off the ship, it has a larger than average balcony, which gives some much welcomed extra space to relax on.
