The Sapphire is a beautiful ship. Very clean.

Our cabin which was a balcony cabin on the Aloha deck was lovely. Plenty of storage space and room to walk around. Bathrooms small but adequate. Having a balcony is a must for us. We always have one and it really helps to make the trip for us.  Our cabin was lovely, spacious and very clean. It deserves the highest rating.

The food in the dining room was just fair. It all sounded good and looked good but was for the most part rather tasteless. The wait staff was excellent. We also found it difficult to get to the dining room as you had to walk up or take an elevator up a deck, walk across the ship and then down a flight. Not passenger friendly. The food in the Buffet dining room was barely fair. The dessert station constantly had empty platters that were not refilled. What was there was always the same each day. Very poor variety. The fresh fruit was always bad. Either overripe or underripe. The dining times are too short and on one night we arrived in the dining room at 7:00 p.m. (we were the only ones dining at our table that night--the others were dining off the ship) The early seating was from 6:00 - 8:00 but they refused to serve us. They said we were too late and they had to get ready for the next seating at 8"30. VERY VERY BAD. We complained to a purser at the passenger desk who took our report. (we just received a letter of apology but no offer to make it up to us in any way)
