Many,many passengers on this cruise caught a virus/chest infection within a few days of boarding, even crew had illness as I pointed out to a waiter who was serving us, his reply was that the on board doctor had given him an injection for this problem. Surely he should have been confined to his cabin and not let into the restaurant. Not withstanding this terrible problem, if you like to sit on a coach for 3 to 4 hours in traffic before your tours you will like this trip. I believe Viking has got this cruise all wrong. This was our 9th (ninth) cruise and the most disappointing, all the other Viking cruises have been really good, but would suggest anyone thinking of this river cruise (Waterways of the Tsars) be prepared awful traffic, massive queues, and disorganisation. We also had a Viking representative (Maria) who was at our hotel in St Petersburg & Moscow who seemed totally unhelpful and disinterested in us.
