Sail Date: Jul 2017

We chose this cruise because we liked the itinerary and we had sailed with Viking before on a river cruise and an ocean cruise and had a great experience.

We absolutely loved all of the stops on this cruise and the shore excursions were fantastic. The food on Viking is the best we have ever had. The entertainment is adequate but that's not what we went for so it wasn't that important to us. One of the things I like about their ships are the things they don't have....no rock climbing wall or water slide, someone always trying to sell you something or casino etc. it's so peaceful and relaxed and the service is amazing. The rooms are large with big balconies and the boats are all new.

We did the additional two day tour in St Petersburg with the ballet in the palace. I'm not a fan of ballet but it was something special and I would recommend it highly. We also spent three days in and around Bergen before we boarded the boat and I'm glad we did that
