Wanted an overview of the major Scandinavian capitals and better insight into Norway. This cruise exceeded expectations except for the lack of enforcement of dress code in the evenings. Did not really appreciate seeing a man and his wife walking around the World Cafe area at dinner time in their bathrobes and flip flops after getting out of the infinity pool. Manfredi’s was the best restaurant, disappointed in the Chef’s Table (too nouveau for me).

Our penthouse suite 8007 on the 8th Deck was surpurb, beautifully appointed with lots of room and a very large bathroom. The staff was wonderful and the afternoon tea in the Wintergarden is not to be missed. Overall the cruise was enjoyable, but not enough time in the ports like you would get on a Viking River Cruise. We did an extension in Oslo taking the train from Bergen to Oslo. This train ride (8 hours) was one of the highlights of the cruise as it passes through some of the most beautiful parts of Norway.

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse Suite

The suite was outstanding. Very roomy with nice large bathroom and lots of closet and drawer space for storage. Quite understated Danish modern appointments with separate seating area.

Went to a village and visited a fruit orchard. Excursion took us through some very scenic countryside with great photo ops
