The itinerary. How often do you get the chance to visit Carthage (Tunisia) or Algiers? The cruise went to the beautiful port of Cagliari, Sardinia and Valetta, Malta. Both were wonderful and offered a glimpse into history and culture not found on typical cruises. But Tunisia and Algiers were special. They helped bridge the gap between the east and the west in a way that was inspiring and encouraging. Valencia was a marvel. We walked where Romans bathed, rode camels and made friends that have blossomed into future planned trips.

Not to be left out was the wonderful ship Viking Sea. Those accustomed to ordinary ships have a surprise waiting. The spa had a snow room! A quick visit there followed by a dip in the spa or sauna invigorates like nothing else! The beauty of the ship and the food was superb. A wonderful vacation that ended much too soon.

Cabin Review

Great amenities, good size and new comfortable bed and furnishings, the cabin is the result of many hours of understanding travelers needs.
