For the ports of call, tours and especially the size of the ocean liner Viking Sky was a winner. Even on a sea day you sometimes wondered where all the other passengers were. Embarking and disembarking went smoothly and quickly. The stateroom had plenty of closet storage plus some drawers. The bathroom is a plus in size and with heated floors! My husband found the food amazing and thoroughly enjoyed his daily afternoon tea with fresh warm scones. I had dietary restrictions of being lactose and gluten intolerance. So my meals were lacking variety and Viking did not offer lactose free yoghurt, cheeses nor gluten free cookies etc. So after a 15 day cruise I was starving for homemade soups, desserts etc. I was given daily a menu so I could choose a preference and hopefully the chef could accommodate me but this did not always happen. If the food intolerances could be rectified then the cruise would have been wonderful.

Cabin Review

Cabin DV2 Deluxe Veranda

Excellent with fridge and coffee maker. King size bed. Lots of closet space with adequate amount of hangers plus drawers and shelving. Bathroom had large shower with lots of counter space with adequate shelving and drawers. Most amazing was the heated floors and complimentary slippers and robes.
