We have always wanted to see more of that part of the world. We have traveled by car to Croatia, but, aside from Greece and Italy, we had never visited the other countries on this cruise. The cities are beautiful, historic and very walkable. the shore excursions were delightful and the guides were outstanding. We particularly enjoyed a visit to a farmers' market.

The restaurant food was good but it was difficult to get reservations in the other specialty restaurants.

We enjoyed the ship, it is luxurious in every way. We used the spa for massages but didn't ever use the pool or jaccuzzi. I think that I prefer Viking River cruises to the ocean cruise because we never saw the same people twice because the ship is so large. On the river cruises we were assigned to a group and saw, and even ate meals, with the same people every day. That is something we enjoy doing on a cruise. I would consider going again but I would prefer a smaller ship next time.

Cabin Review

lovely and comfortable. More wastebaskets would be nice.
