Cabin: Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

Cruised on NCL in the past and decided to give the Getaway a try. We selected an aft balcony cabin. The balcony was HUGE and the aft view is the best view. Able to see ports no matter which side the ship is docked. Watched some runners who were about to miss the ship leaving in each port. This captain/ship was VERY prompt. The engines fired at all aboard time and arrived and departed everywhere according to schedule. The ship was clean and beautiful and to have the number of passengers on board, it did not feel crowed except for two areas. The first being the only tiny pool. On at sea days you could not attempt to get a big toe in the water even if you found a chair. The second was the buffet. We were most disappointed in the food. We ate at three specialty restaurants and only the french one was memorable. Cagney's was disappointing and Ocean blue was very disappointing and made me sick. All of the staff we encountered was excellent.

Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

Great cabin. The aft balconies are huge with full length lounge chairs. Our steward was awesome. The only thing better is an aft suite!
