Wanted to explore the Scandinavian countries. This cruise fit the itinerary just perfect. The shore excursions were great and not to tiring. The crew/staff/services were outstanding. The cruise was turnkey, no casinos, no sales pitches, an adult cruise. Food was outstanding. The chef and servers were five star every meal. Amenities, facilities, entertainment, can't say enough, the best. The ship Viking Sky was new and very well built. The cleanest ship that we've ever been on. Did not explore the port of Bergen, we arrived a day late. Flying is not fun anymore. When the Viking personnel received us at airport we were glad to see them and everything went great from then to the end of cruise. The high point was St. Petersburg, the Hermitage without waiting in line for hours and the behind the scenes. The tour of the Hermitage restoration facilities was amazing. To see the art of the greats and the painstaking restoration of beautiful works of art was a lasting memory.
