The cruise offered by Viking. This is the cruise we always wanted to do. While we have travelled extensively by land transportation throughout the region it was a special experience to cruise the fjords and visit many scenic locations along the way. Cruising above the Arctic Circle was a once in a lifetime experience. It all helped by the fact that Viking arranged for perfect weather on the whole trip. They are very good that way. We packed for potential cold weather and we're greeted by spectacular sunshine and warm (60 &70 degree days) weather for most of the trip. The smaller size of the ship really made a difference on this trip. We were able to sail up fjords that a larger ship could not navigate. How cool is it to sail up the Thames and dock in Greenwich!!! I would do this cruise again if I had the opportunity even if Viking didn't arrange for perfect weather.....

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda

We had the lowest level of veranda and it was great. The difference between this level and the next step up (which we have had on other Viking cruises) is minor.
