The Viking Star was elegant and beautiful with enriching details that made the voyage a special experience. Our penthouse veranda room was very comfortable. Viking understands the modern traveller -- free wireless, lots of outlets to charge devices in the rooms and interactive TV screen to keep us up to date on our schedules, options and lots of movies. Touches of luxury added to the enjoyable experiences -- from heated bathroom floor to soft throws to relax on lazy sea days which we enjoyed as we sailed across the Atlantic towards Europe from Puerto Rico.

So many details contributed -- the decor, the spa (and the snow room) to making it a wonderful experience. But overall it was the Viking crew and their courtesy to passengers that made it so memorable. I will come back and am already looking forward to a river cruise soon.

Fellow passengers were fun, interesting and so well travelled. Overall, a great experience.
