Touring the fjords of Norway had always been a dream of mine. Viking offered the perfect itinerary with the added benefit of visiting England and Scotland. "Into the Midnight Sun" aboard the Viking Sky was a delight. We had been on her sister ship, Viking Sea, a couple of years before on our Mediterranean Odyssey cruise. The ships are identical and the staff on both ships were stellar. In fact, we recognized a few personnel from the Viking Sea aboard the Viking Sky. Our Captain was also Captain of the Viking Sea. It was comforting to have familiar faces.

Our Stateroom was 4106. We like to go aft and chose the Port side. Deluxe Verandas are our preferred category. The stewards were always attentive and friendly. We've always had excellent service.

Embarkation in Greenwich was a very smooth transfer to the ship via ferry. Luggage was stored earlier in the morning and we ate lunch on the pier before going by ferry to the ship. No lines, quick access.
