We just got back from our cruise aboard the Carnival Ecstasy. We had been given the opportunity to upgrade to one of the Owner's Suites and decided to accept it. We have both recently retired and thought this would be a great way to celebrate. The representative sent us pictures of the room and told us we would be upgraded to Platinum for this trip (I am only Gold) and would enjoy those benefits. He also explained that the room was under the track and there might be some associated noise.

AFTER booking, the Carnival representative sent us an acknowledgement that said "... there may be noise from deck activities such as live music, announcements, moving of deck chairs and joggers which may be heard from within the cabin" and that "In consideration of the fore mentioned the Guest hereby releases CARNIVAL from any claims or complaints related to the Guest use of the owner’s suites."

Boarding was very quick and we were escorted to the room, as promised. We were very impressed and looked forward to spending the next 5 days enjoying this great suite. The room itself is beautiful - everything is well done. Our room steward was great and we got several "treats" during our trip.
