So we left on the September 15th cruise on a 3 night Bahamas cruise to Cococay and Nassau. There was a bit of frustration that I will detail first but if you're looking strictly for the boat go past the first paragraph.

First thing's first, there was a bit of a hiccup that was really frustrating. We received a text from RCCL regarding sail away being pushed to 8PM and boarding starting at 4PM due to hurricane Irma. When we got the text our friends, who were sailing on the same ship, called to confirm that this was in fact the case. When they called they were told there was no change and they could show up at 12PM to board like normal and we'd be leaving at 4PM. We then questioned whether this was true so we called the line as well and they informed us that the time had not changed and that we'd be leaving at 4PM. When we got to the port to board we were told that we would be delayed until 4PM to start boarding, like the text said, and that we could go to Terminal J by walking or by bus transport and they would have refreshments and snacks until we started boarding (the boat was currently at Terminal G). We walked to Terminal J since there wasn't a bus there yet and when we got to Terminal J, sweaty and hot, we were stopped and told there was nothing there and that we would need to take transportation to Bayside to wait for 4PM to board. We took the bus, frustrated that we were told this information since we live in the area and could have just waited to come down south from Fort Lauderdale. When we got to Bayside our friends got to the port and were told that they ship would actually leave from Terminal G now instead of Terminal J and would start soon, an hour and a half before 4PM. We rushed back to get on board as soon as we could since we needed to rush to get full use of the drink package we paid for that we felt we were being cheated out of 4 hours of. Needless to say, the organization and planning of this was frustratingly agonizing. RCCL I've never really had complaints but this is one of them. I hope they see this for in the future.

The ship itself, like it's stated here already, looks worn from the outside. I'm glad that they are doing dry dock soon to spruce her up. The inside, has been left beautiful as if it were day 1. Well maybe year 5 haha. Still, a beautiful ship that is a nice reprieve from the gigantic ships out of South Florida normally. The only thing I truly thought, on the inside of the ship, could be improved is the solarium. Either open the glass room or air condition that baby. Beautiful location that we would have gladly taken advantage of had it been air conditioned or had some sort of fresh air flowing in. Also, the pools on the outside really need paint job. It's a little scary getting in with the faded paint haha.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite with Balcony

Cabin JS

This was a fantastic room because it's on a corner with a large corner balcony on the back of the boat. Great views! Don't expect much though, Other than a walk in closet and a combined shower/tub, this room is the same as a regular balcony on the larger boats. Great balcony though! If you're doing a JS this is the one to get.
