Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

We wanted it because it fitted in with our holiday dates. The crew were all very happy, helpful always smiling and an occasional song as well. The Independence was very clean overall and lots to do, even on a sea day it didn't feel crowded. You were spoilt for choice on dining experiences. We had the deluxe drinks package and every drink we asked for was free so very contented with it. The atmosphere in the casino was great. If you just wanted to watch others gambling you could and if you just wanted a small flutter that was OK as well. The food in the main dining rooms and windjammer was tasty and hot with a great variety to choose from. The public areas were clearly marked, and clean and spacious. The only negatives we found were the lack of seating in the bars on Sea days and evenings. The rule regarding the reserving of sunbeds was not fully enforced. The overall experience was fantastic for us though.
