This was our second river cruise with Viking. We had such a wonderful experience with previous cruise on the Rhine and Danube that we jumped at the two-for-one offer for the Rhone in France with the optional 3 day stay in Paris following the cruise. I love that they take all the stress out of traveling, provide daily educational included tours with local guides plus optional ones, and serve delicious meals. Our cabin, though small, had everything we needed. With 192 cruisers it's just the right size to meet and share experiences with other travelers. The staff are extremely customer oriented, well organized and efficient. The program director and hotel manager were terrific.

Our stay in Paris included a well located hotel, a bus tour of the city and a Viking. representative available daily at the hotel. There were several optional tours but we choose to explore on our own.

Highly recommend this company.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom

Cabin E

The cabin had a full size comfortable bed, TV, bathroom with shower, closet and internet access by wi-fi. It was very clean and daily room service was excellent.

Port Reviews

Avignon

We had two walking tours in Avignon. The Popes' Palace was the highlight.

Arles

Bus to the city from docking site in Tatascon and walking tour of Arles. Highlight was the Roman arena which is still used today-for bullfighting. Cobbled streets with shops.
