This was our first time cruise and were on board the Golden Princess from Auckland to Sydney via Bay of Islands. Cruising was never high on our agenda but as a 4 night experience and a bucket list tick off we gave it a go.

Cabin- perfectly adequate with balcony, Baja 436. Having never cruised before we thought it was good although a lot of regulars said the cabins were looking tired and the ship was due a refurbishment next year. Service in the cabins, making beds, cleaning etc was amazing.

Perfectly adequate for a four night cruise. Would not have liked to be in the cabin week after week after week. Cabin service was brilliant and I can understand those travellers who enjoy not doing anything will give this a five star.
