THE SHIP'S BELL

Out of all of our VIKING RIVER BOAT Cruises, this was by all counts, the worst. The staff seemed tired and not very friendly, ship had a bad odor, it must be needing a re-do, the Wifi was terrible.

All of our other long ships have been new and beautiful. The BURI must be a much older ship. It had a sewer problem all week, nasty smell all over the ship. Dining room staff were very slow to take orders & get the food out. The PA system on the ship didn't work for the first 3 days, so no announcements were announced. The wifi system was terrible, all the other ships have had excellent wifi.

I would recommend VIKING takes a good look at this ship and make some much needed improvements, the food was mediocre.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom

Cabin E

Our cabin was fine, but the ship had a sewer problem all week, & the entire ship had a very bad smell. They finally had to Pump out the sewer while we were in port all day. Of all of our cruises, the staff on the BURI, were not friendly, the dining room staff were very slow and not up to the usual standards that we have come to love about ALL of our VIKING Cruises. This was our 4th VIKING CRUISE, and we have 2 more already booked for 2018.
