Despite sailing the exact time hurricane Irma was coming in fast and furiously, we had an excellent cruise. It was also one of the calmest cruises we have ever been on. Thanks to a very skilled and competent captain and staff.

Embarkation went very quickly, perhaps because we had a suite, but Celebrity had a major key distribution problem that did cause a 30 minute delay. I'm pretty sure that was not the normal scenario, so no points lost for that. We were told to arrive 11:30 - 2:30, which we did, but our cabin was not ready until about 1:30, so we hung out and had lunch. Again, not a major deal breaker as we were coming to relax and didn't find the need to stress.

We had a sky suite, number 1198, only because we received an email 5 days prior to sailing asking if we wanted to upgrade, for a nominal fee. Before that I had booked a concierge cabin, which I will assume was nice enough after speaking to several others who had them. Size wise, I think that the balconies, concierge and aqua cabins are all the same size, but you are offered additional perks as you climb the ladder. One would have to assess on their own if they thinks the perks are worth the additional money. We would probably book the concierge one next time, as it would suit our needs fine.
