Group of 8 of us enjoyed the trip together. Luxury all the way, in every way. Our fantastic travel agent worked with Viking to help get us evening dinners together as we rotated dining venues and sometimes in private dining rooms. Viking Sea is thoughtfully designed, down to the smallest detail. It is spotlessly clean, well organized, and so pleasant. Staff were fantastic: efficient, attentive, and every single one I saw the entire trip greeted me. I heard no complaint or negative comments from staff. Dinner staff endeared themselves to us in other ways, too, at table 2 in The Restaurant we made discoveries. We found out Lili (beautiful voice) sang so we coerced a song per night, Mark made us wonderful origami creatures, Bodi took universal care of us; Unathi shared stories of his homeland South Africa and his Khoisan click language! Wayan and housekeepers kept our room impeccable. Ship food was wonderful in every venue. Kitchens are spotlessly clean. Wonderful selection of wine. Entertainment and lectures were varied and great! Heather Clancy gives it her all as cruise Director (and classical opera singer!). She brings everybody's energy, talent and so many varied pieces together. Shore excursions specialized in showing off their homeland, offered wonderful variety, were interesting, and were so well organized! Unlike another reviewer, we liked the Berlin trip, interesting train ride & great guide & felt the shore excursions offered a variety suitable for anyone 55 and older. And the captain provided us a very smooth ride, on time departure and arrival, all behind the scenes. We loved this experience. Not one suggestion for change or improvement! Thank you, Viking!
