We sailed a 7 night cruise on the Allure that ended up being a 10 night cruise due to hurricane Irma. I cannot say enough good things about Royal Caribbean and the entire staff of the Allure of the Seas!

The ship is amazing in itself but how well we were treated by the staff and RC went beyond expectations. The Captain kept us informed during the storm with updates on our itinerary changes and the reason they were done to keep us safe. The staff stayed so professional and kind with what had to be extremely difficult considering several of the staff had family in countries being destroyed by Irma. Our Stateroom Attendant VANEL was so awe-inspiring and nice while he worried for his family in Haiti for days before, during and after Irma. It touched me how hard he worked with a smile when we knew he was in distress. PLUS RC made the decision to make tripping the employees optional the extra days we were at sea. WOW is all I can say. I hope everyone tipped more!!!

The crew set up a part of the ship that helped you with free calls and travel plans if you needed assistance due to the Allure's delay to Ft Lauderdale. They kept it open 12 hours daily so we would not need to stand in line. They gave details of airport locations if you needed to get off the ship at one of the ports we visited to get home. They extended internet and Ultimate Dining Packages if you had them for free. Drink packages were half price the extra days. They offered people assistance that could not find hotel rooms or flights out of FL the day we came back.
