We have been on other Thomson ships, the latest the Celebration in June, and found the dream to be less efficient than the others, staff seemed to have a very laid back attitude. We had an outside plus cabin on deck 6 which was a good size, although cabin cleanliness was poor with thick dust on all surfaces when we arrived and it was not cleaned off for days. There were times when towels left for changing were just hung up again. This is the very first time I have not left a tip for the cabin steward. The entertainment in the Broadway lounge was of the usual good standard with shows every night. All the entertainment hosts were very enthusiastic keeping everyone happy, the Medusa lounge was large and Milly was very professional, personable and entertaining in all her game shows, there and on the pool deck interacting with the guests. While it was busy at times, the waiting staff in the lounges were friendly, smiling and did their best to keep everyone supplied with drinks. Food whilst ok, seemed not to be as good as on other Thomson ships, although you would not go hungry as there was plenty of choice. I agree that the brochure says adult pool on deck 8 but it not being the case on board, unsupervised kids everywhere (parents to blame, not Thomson) All in all we enjoyed it, perhaps after having been on other Thomson ships we are being over critical about the dream. Don't be put off, it's what you make it.
Large cabin with picture window, queen size bed (singles pushed together) Settee, bath with shower. Cleanliness not good, cabin steward not very efficient
