Carnival Fantasy was my family's first cruise and we loved it! The staff was amazing and although some staff were hard to understand they were all super friendly! Food was great, some things did taste better then others but overall loved the food. If you have any sensitivity's such as gluten intolerance my suggestion would be to contact ahead of time and arrange to be seating in the Jubilee Dining Room. You have an assigned table for the whole cruise which just makes it easier to get the accommodations you need. The 24 hour ice cream and pizza is amazing! Cabins are much bigger then what we were expecting to get on the cruise. We upgraded to an ocean side window and the little extra money is definitely worth it, As far as entertainment goes, my family never stopped. From the cruise director of fun, C-Love to the multiple different shows and activity's going on the whole family had something to do. Shows were amazing and I definitely recommend the Hasbro game show and the 80's show! Even when we hit a rough patch on our last day at sea there shows continued and the performers improvised to bring us as much fun as possible. The ports are great and we honestly didn't need to do any excursions. Definitely recommend meeting the dolphins at Costa Maya, don't pay for the shore excursion to meet them because on the port they only charge you 25 US! Now since I am a teen I think it's time I get to my favourite part of the cruise; Club O2 the club meant only for 15-17 year olds. I didn't see my family unless it was dinner time or if it was 3:30 in the morning because that was how late I would be out having fun! I made so many new friends from this group and the group supervisor (shout out to Martina!) was just plain awesome! So many different things everyday and if you are bringing any teen on this cruise tell them to try it out because they will make lifelong memories! My only complaints would be that my younger siblings who were in Circle C (the group for 12-14 year olds) had a boring supervisor who did nothing so they ended up doing other things on their own. Also the bubbles program is not worth the money (juice is not included no matter what t says online and you have to wait like 5 minutes just to get a pop). I would definitely recommend this to family's and one other shoutout to our amazing waitress who's name I can't spell but she's the head server at the Jubilee dining room!
