We chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary. Royal's standards have dropped. The service and staff don't have the same dedication as in past years. The head line shows are the same as 2 years ago. Which is a shame. We were told that because of the cost of production they keep the shows for at least 5 years. This will certainly stop us going on the ship again. There were also a lot of technical problems, which for a ship some 2-3 years old should have been sorted by now. They still serve diner on cold plates hence when it is served the food is only tepid. When the head waiter asked for comments, I told him, but no difference...

The servers were fantastic. One other failing is the lack of customer service desks. There are only 5 desks but never fully manned. The queues are horrendous keeping people waiting and waiting.

Cosmetics are no longer given in the cabin, we have to ask for them.
