This trip was long in the planning - I had actually booked the same itinerary on another line a couple of years ago but life interfered - so when the same itinerary came up again on the Oceania Marine, I booked it and am thrilled that I was finally able to visit the Baltic!
I was on the Marina two years ago on a Venice to Rome itinerary and absolutely loved the ship. It didn't look like it had aged at all - the ship was still in beautiful condition, spotless and with very attractive public spaces. The ship sailed full or close to it, so on our one sea day, it did seem a little bit more crowded - there wasn't a seat to be had in the Library, which was my favorite hang out spot - but that's to be excepted.
Embarkation:
Our cabin was well appointed, lots of storage space - very clean and the balcony was spacious. Love the deep tub in the bathroom but the shower is very small and narrow and hard to move around in - so I showered in the tub. Very little sink space but it's a small bathroom so you make do with what you have!
