We chose the Garden villa for both a Honeymoon and for the parents 30th wedding anniversary. If you have to choose between 14500 and 14000 chose 14500 because it has a bar instead of a walk-in galley kitchen. There was 6 of us in the cabin and for the price we each paid it was well worth it ($3.6k+- per person). You get 24 hour Concierge, butler and housekeeper who were beyond exceptional. You get with this suite priority boarding, disembarking during port day, and disembarking once back in Boston. You also get VIP reserved seating at the shows as well however we did not go to any. Check out youtube videos of the garden-villa to get an idea of what it looks like. After experiencing that type of luxury it will be tough to book anything below a suite going forward. I have been on over 8 cruises now and half being on the NCL ships that go from Boston to Bermuda. Yes the ship is smaller and slightly outdated compared larger NCL ships or RCL ships but you are getting the benefits of not having to fly (live in New Hampshire) as well as staying on the island for almost 3 days. Bermuda is one of the best and safest islands I've been to. The locals don't try to hassle/ sell stuff to you plus they are extremely friendly and hospitable. We have rented mopeds every time we go and are able to park them right outside the ship on the pier. If you are to purchase a specialty dinner you won't want to miss the French restaurant. Italian was meh so I wouldn't waste your money there. I would definitely book this cruise and garden-villa in the future.
As someone who works in the hospitality industry (Hotel Management) this was one of the best experiences I have had so far, the guest service was stellar and top notch.
Check out YouTube videos to see how the layout is... NCL's website doesn't do the villa justice. Well worth the money!!!!!!!
