Chose this cruise because it left and returned to NY. Had sailed on Breakaway before, and enjoyed the experience.Things that disappointed this time were: Cagney's porterhouse not as good or tender as it should have been. Cagneys lobster bisque very strange, didn't eat it. Steak knife not sharp and was huge and hard to cut with. Manhattan room NY strip steak also not tender, sent it back. I agree that the food tends to be too salty in the complimentary dinning rooms. Enjoyed the Garden Buffet and Le Bistro. Enjoyed the Cirque show, if not the provided entree. Ship pools too small, hot tubs filled with kids. Atrium crowded with people saving seats for friends for long periods of time. Internet area not properly staffed, unhappy people. On the positive side, all personnel except for guest services were wonderful and always greeted us with a smile. Cabin well kept. Bartenders in atrium and Cagneys were attentive and efficient, good drinks! Martinis in Shakers, were delicious.

Rock of Ages was lewd loud and inappropriate for children, yet they allowed it. Saw parents taking children out, thank you. The casino area was way too smokey and smoke seeped throughout other areas. Embarking was late and confusing. Needed more policing. Trivia in teams was confusing as was the scoring. I am sailing on the Escape in April and I hope things will be better. In closing I must say that the ship was very clean and sanitary, personnel polite and for the most part the food was very good.
