We have seen Alaska in depth, having RV'd there 3 times in 10 years. This cruise took us where we could not drive. Because the weather was persistently rainy/foggy, it was challenging to see what we would have wanted. Renting a car and putzing around Juneau was our best day. Also loved the scenic Skagway trainride. Cruising was interesting, tho too chilly to use our balcony much. Enjoyed talking with others, and delighted with the diversity of passengers to meet. The food was beyond wonderful, and every moment in the dining room was great. It is hard to understand anyone complaining about the food. We found the ship to be clean and not in disrepair.

We are seniors, so chose to schedule when kids would be in school. We didn't choose much nightlife, but heard good reviews from others. We consistently felt that there were good choices open to us.

Clean, easy to use, not a problem in 7 days. Noise was not an issue.
