Having been on Nuremberg to Amsterdam part of Rhine (with Scenic) we wanted to complete Nuremberg to Budapest which included part of Danube. The ship, the service, crew & quality of food & drinks where first class. We made some good friends & enjoyed some lively nights aboard. We found the scenery not as attractive as the previous years Duoro trip ( with Scenic) & prefered the smaller trips available on the Duoro in the mornings leaving the afternoons free for leisurely cruising. The full on early starts all day trips on the Danube took their toll eventually. All the staff were very accomodating providing excellent service at all times. The ship was kept spotlessly clean at all times, we didn't have a single meal we did not enjoy & several that were superb. Our original flight was from London Gatwick but Scenic changed this to London Heathrow so providing a free luxury car to & from airport was ample recompense for our inconvenience.
