I chose this cruise primarily because New Orleans is a 7 hr drive from my home and the available dates met my schedule. (I also did this same cruise last summer.) I traveled with my daughter, 10 year old grandson and a friend. Even though this is an older and smaller ship than many I have cruised on, I enjoyed it and had no complaints. The size makes it quick and easy to get around. It was clean and my balcony cabin on deck 10 (1061) was in great shape. It had 2 twins (king), full sofa bed and an upper bunk. We had plenty of storage space for 3 adults and a child. My cabin steward was great. We had service twice a day and he kept our cooler full of ice. I do hope the next dry dock includes adding mini fridges to the cabins to alleviate the need for a cooler.

I had requested Your Time dining and was waitlisted for it but ended up with late dining. I went to the dining room after embarkation and was able to get early dining. Our servers did an amazing job and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The food was as good as and better than some I have had on other ships.

I only attended a couple of shows and they were good. I mostly hung out on the lido deck or my balcony when on the ship.

Cabin 8E

We had a balcony on deck 10 that was 4 away from the entrance to the pool deck. This was a great location and very convenient to everything. The room was clean and had plenty of storage for 3 ladies and a child.
