We chose this cruise due to the ports - especially 3 days in St. Petersburg. Due to full days in ports and only 1 at sea day, we did not participate in any on board activities. Entertainment at night was not as good as on other cruises, including the Oceania Nautica. We did private port excursions in St. Petersburg and Berlin and on our own in other countries. Oceania excursions were very pricey and not as extensive as offered by private companies. The Marina is a very nice, comfortable, and classy ship, Although it held 1200 passengers, it did not feel any more crowded than the 600 passenger Nautica which we were on previously. The crew was friendly and helpful. There was a wide selection of food in all the restaurants. We had a Veranda cabin which was very spacious though we did not really need the balcony as it was cold outside. I would definitely chose this ship and company again.

Port Reviews

We did a walking tour on our own using Rick Steve's book. Very interesting port.

Took Hop On Hop Off Bus Tour to see major sites. Not enough time to do much more!

Took walking tour from Info center. Very interesting port.

Took Oceania tour to Coronian Spit and walked through witches forest. Fun and nice to be out of the city.
