I will preface this review by stating that we have been on only one other cruise, and it was the sister ship of the Glory, the Valor. The ships are nearly identical. Thus I cannot compare this line to any others. But this review could apply to either the Glory or the Valor, as we enjoyed both.

First an foremost, I would highly recommend Carnival if you are a family cruising with kids. That doesn't mean that you should avoid it if you don't have kids, just that it is great for families as well. They have great programs set up for several different age groups: 2-5, 6-8, 9-11, 12-14, and 15-17. This means that not only will your kids always have something to do, but they will be with similarly aged kids. And they will even babysit kids from 6 months and up until 1 am if parents want to party.

There are tons of scheduled activities (games, bands, shows, comedians, etc.), as well as stuff that is always ongoing (casino, bars, swimming, food, shopping, etc.) Something for the young and the old and everywhere in between.
