We were originally ready to book on another cruise line when one of the group said...we are not going to Bar Harbor? We have to go there...so I researched and we decided to go on the Anthem. I personally had been on Navigator of the Seas 13 years ago and I did not care for it (food was terrible) and often cold at the WIndjammer. But let's give Royal Caribbean another try. We were a group of 24 from age 25 to 75

Well........we had the same problem, food in the main dining room was terrible to OK...We had to send things back, service was unsteady. Our waiter had to leave the cruise midweek and we got another waiter..In the Windjammer waffles, french toast and pancakes were cold every day. Very hard to find a seat in Windjammer. Sea days would have loved to eaten in dining room for breakfast but it was only open till 9:15. Would have loved to have a food venue (other than Johnny Rockets) out by the pools for lunch.

Entertainment...saw one show....A "jersey Boy" out on his own.....he was very good but we had to skip dessert and run from one end of the ship to the other (we had late seating). All other shows were at difficult times to be booked and all shows in Music Hall no seats for 10 pm show.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

I don't like the location of the lifeboats....I enjoy seeing the water (straight down) could only look straight out. The cabin itself was nice. Although I loved the shower door, a friend had a virtual inside studio cabin and had a huge shower (rectangle) not round like ours.
