I choose this trip because I have always wanted to see Alaska. December 2016, I cruised Silver Sea on the Silver Wind to the Caribbean. I fell in love with Silver Sea. This cruise was on the Silver Shadow and the next in 2018 will be on the Silver Whisper. Each ship is a little different but similar in the rooms etc. The ports they stop at are adventures you may never have taken before and you have so many to choose from. On the ship is many activities for anyone and everyone. You may choose to do some or choose not to. It is all up to you. The dinning is to die for and everyone is so kinds and ready and waiting to serve you.

This trip to Alaska I choose to take the culture activity as I was interested in the totems. What stories they tell. I took the photo cruise and saw an eagle and whales, oh my. Learned about taking better photos. So much to tell you. For me this is the ship I shall sail one always. The ports, the staff and my fantastic cruise consultant Alfonso Reveron. He has guided me and answered all my many questions.

I have so much to tell about this cruise and my first. I wrote a book which sells on Amazon called "My Very First Cruise" and I will be writing my next about Alaska and Silver Sea as well as Denali.

Veranda Suite

Cabin V4

The view from the veranda. Superb. The rooms are so large as well as the bathroom. I had a separate shower as well as a bath. Double sinks and very large towels and a large bath mat. The shampoo's and lotion etc are the best. Not only does your skin feel so soft but your hair as well and they smell so good. You have a desk, a couch, chairs a large bed and pillows you just sink right into. So comfortable. You can have in suite dinning when every you want. Sometimes you just do not want to leave your room. On your veranda you have a table and two lounge chairs. I would go out one the veranda and take many pictures and sometime read as it was so relaxing. You have a room person and a butler who keeps your ice box stocked with what ever you like to drink. they personalize it for you. I know I am missing many features but I promise you that you will not get what you get on a Silver Sea cruise anywhere else. Do not forget: Everything is included.
