Needed to use our discount offer that was provided us during the shortened Christmas cruise, December 2016. We picked a fabulous time to go to Alaska, with great weather out of San Francisco as well as some spectacular weather days in Alaska.

We travelled with our twin 21 year old daughters, but they were in an interior stateroom down the hall. We stayed in D736, aft, Vista Suite. Gave us plenty of room for all of us to hang out together, sit on the balcony during sea days, and I was able to get them key cards so they could come and go as they liked. They preferred using our shower and, of course, the bathtub!

The aft suites are our favorites, and I'm so spoiled I won't travel otherwise. Our cabin steward, Angelo, was an absolute delight and kept our room spotless as well as the ice bucket filled and the fruit replenished. He was such a hard worker, and silent! I was taking a nap and I never even heard him knock or come in (DH forgot to put the DND sign up); he was so appalled that he disturbed me! Poor thing.

Vista Suite with Balcony

Cabin S6

Love the D-aft cabins. Huge balconies, with seating for 6 or more. Great for just hanging out and watching everything from behind. No worries about things only seen on one side of the ship--you get to see it all from behind
