This was our first luxury cruise and we chose Silver Seas because of their ratings. The main selling points for myself were the size of the ship. It was extremely nice to be on one with 570 passengers as opposed to 5000. The food, which was incredible. The excursions and how organized everything was from start to finish and the service on board especially our private butler who was amazing. We did have a cabin that was next to an area used by the crew and most of the time there was a great deal of noise and I feel that it should be offered at a discounted price because of the noise factor. We allowed Silver Seas to book our airfare and on the return flights not enough time was allotted between flights. One of the flights was delayed and we had to literally run through the airport to make our connecting flight. We were the last ones on the plane before the doors closed. I would just suggest that flights be carefully checked before departure.
Overall it was a wonderful experience, but I honestly do not think I would go again.
The cabin was very roomy, clean, and comfortable. However, it was next to an area used by the crew only and most of the time there was an excessive amount of noise at times even loud music. There were at times issues with the toilet not working properly which was addressed, but never completely resolved.
Just walked around on our own. Very nice time.
