We had a wonderful time on the Celebrity Constellation. The ship is in great shape and just the right size- neither too small or too big. The staff and service exceeded my already high expectations. Little touches such as offering champagne and mimosas on arrival day, sorbet and cold towels by the pool on days at sea, and fruit infused water upon embarking back on the ship at each port of call added so much to the experience.
The food in the Main dining room was by and large good (although the evening after the first chic night was a miss) and the specialty restaurants we dined at, Qsine and Tuscan Grille, were superb! Every day at 4 PM the Oceanview Cafe offered an afternoon snack with the scones and the empanadas were amazingly delicious and such a treat.
This was our first Celebrity cruise and we are now sold on this line. We put a deposit down for another Celebrity cruise and look forward to it.

Katakolon (Olympia)
We booked Katakolon Taxi Tours for a half day tour and had a wonderful tour of the island including the museum and a fabulous winery. Our driver, George, was terrific- friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. He took us to restaurant with a breathtaking view of the island which was the perfect way to end our time in Katakolon.
Athens (Piraeus)
We took the Jewish Heritage tour with Daniel Isachakis who was beyond wonderful. He was warm, personable and engaging, and so knowledgeable. He first drove us around Athens to see the sites and then took us on an extensive and memorable tour of the Jewish Museum, Synagogues, and holocaust Memorial. After the tour he took us to a local restaurant where we had the most delicious Greek meal imaginable.
The next day, Daniel and his father. Haim arranged a driver to pick us up at the port and took us to the Acropolis and Parthenon where he arranged a fabulous tour guide to provide a private and very meaningful insightful tour for us. Then it was onto a couple of hours shopping and walking around the Plaka district. The costs were reasonable. I highly recommend contacting Haim for Athens excursions even if Jewish Heritage tour is not your thing. He steered us right every step of the way.
Corfu
We walked around Corfu on our own and had such a wonderful time in this charming and friendly island.
