Celebrity Constellation Cruise Review by JTee
- Sail Date: August 2017
- Destination: Eastern Mediterranean
The food in the Main dining room was by and large good (although the evening after the first chic night was a miss) and the specialty restaurants we dined at, Qsine and Tuscan Grille, were superb! Every day at 4 PM the Oceanview Cafe offered an afternoon snack with the scones and the empanadas were amazingly delicious and such a treat.
This was our first Celebrity cruise and we are now sold on this line. We put a deposit down for another Celebrity cruise and look forward to it.

Athens (Piraeus)We took the Jewish Heritage tour with Daniel Isachakis who was beyond wonderful. He was warm, personable and engaging, and so knowledgeable. He first drove us around Athens to see the sites and then took us on an extensive and memorable tour of the Jewish Museum, Synagogues, and holocaust Memorial. After the tour he took us to a local restaurant where we had the most delicious Greek meal imaginable.View All 1,276 Athens (Piraeus) Cruise Port Reviews
The next day, Daniel and his father. Haim arranged a driver to pick us up at the port and took us to the Acropolis and Parthenon where he arranged a fabulous tour guide to provide a private and very meaningful insightful tour for us. Then it was onto a couple of hours shopping and walking around the Plaka district. The costs were reasonable. I highly recommend contacting Haim for Athens excursions even if Jewish Heritage tour is not your thing. He steered us right every step of the way.

Katakolon (Olympia)We booked Katakolon Taxi Tours for a half day tour and had a wonderful tour of the island including the museum and a fabulous winery. Our driver, George, was terrific- friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. He took us to restaurant with a breathtaking view of the island which was the perfect way to end our time in Katakolon.View All 560 Katakolon (Olympia) Cruise Port Reviews

MykonosWe booked a day pass at St John Resort in Mykonos. The resort is breathtakingly gorgeous and it was such a treat to be there enjoying the pool and ocean and magnificent views! The pass included breakfast and lunch. Since the breakfast on the cruise is so good, we almost passed on eating at the St John. I'm so glad we didn't as the buffet the resort offers rivals any Sunday brunch anywhere. It is far and away the best I've ever experienced. The entire time there was right out of an episode of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.View All 13,774 Mykonos Cruise Port Reviews
