This was our first time on Azamara, but our 21st cruise. We have been on RC, Celebrity, NCL, Princess, Holland America and Crystal. This was definitely one of, if not, the best. Many times we cruise just to be on a new, big, fun ship (we live in Florida so cruising is very easy for us), and have been to almost all of the Caribbean islands over and over so we were looking for something different. We chose this itinerary after seeing Malta featured on the Amazing Race (US TV reality show) several years ago, and we are big Game of Thrones fans as well, so the ports really interested us. It was nice to be on a smaller ship for a change. Everything on the Quest was just on a smaller scale - pool, dining room, common areas, casino, etc. We had a veranda cabin and found it to be typical for that category, and really appreciated the table and chairs on the deck. The ports were the draw, but we were very pleased with the ship. The staff was friendly and did a great job. The food was very good, even in the buffet, and the specialty restaurants were great, with the exception of one salty veal dish. The activities/entertainment were varied enough for us - loved the White Night, the Abba party, lots of dancing with the DJ, and Russ, the activities director, was great. The ONLY negatives in our opinion - the piano player in the Sprits bar by the casino was unenthusiastic and had no interaction with the guests; lighting in this area, and in the common areas in general, was too bright - did not give a cozy feel; the Azamazing Evening was a bit of a bust - venue was lovely but the actual entertainment was not very good - I didn't hear anyone say they enjoyed it.

Ports:

Sorrento: We did the day in Capri. Loved Anna Capri and especially the chair lift up to the viewing point. Downtown Capri was al little crazier and really just shopping.
