My hubby and I had a great time on this boat. This is our 2nd cruise with carnival and we really enjoyed ourselves. It is an older boat but we had no issues. Our room steward was so friendly and personable and gave us great service. Our waiters in the anytime dining room were awesome as well. We had the same waiters everynight and they were so funny, friendly, accommodating and personable. We had the faster to the fun and it really made Embarkation go by fast. We parked at the cruise port and from the time we got out of our car and got on the boat it only too 20 minutes at the most. Faster to the fun is a must!!! Disembarkation went great as well. We opted to get off early and carry our luggage off and we were off the boat within 20 minutes of going to the waiting area for early disembarkation. Our cabin was 8201 and it was a balcony cabin. We were at the very front of the boat with no room to the left of us. We could stand on our balcony and see the Bridge and the crew controlling the boat which was pretty neat. The part of the boat we were on was very quiet, no noise complaints or movement from above us. For the dining guys burgers is a must, we did have a burger a day and truly enjoyed every last one. For breakfast on seadays we did brunch in the dining room and it was amazing!! We only ate at the buffet once and that was the morning we docked in Cozumel, we had to get a quick breakfast and get off of the boat for our excursion. We had breakfast burritos from the blue iguana one morning and they were delicious and plentiful. The dining room food was ok, it wasn't great but it wasn't bad. The bread and soft whipped butter was awesome at dinner. You have plenty of options to choose from on the menu and you can order more than one thing if you want to sample some things.. Cozumel was awesome, we did the dolphin swim excursion and had a blast. It came with a free lunch buffet and open bar, the food and drinks were good. Progresso was an ok port, we only got off the boat to go shopping but everything they had was exact replicas of what was in the shopping port for Cozumel. Overall we had a great time and would definitely take this cruise again for a relaxing getaway.

Port Reviews

Progreso

If we were to take this cruise again we will stay on board for this port. There was nothing here that was of interests to us other than shopping and they have the same things as Cozumel for souveniers and shopping.
