Myself and two girlfriends chose this cruise as it had a list of destinations that other cruise lines do not do ... especially being able to go to Kusadasi, Turkey and take a trip to Ephesus. The Spirit also has one of the largest stateroom verandas which can accomodate 3 adults. We were not over cramped, the bathroom large , a bathtub a bonus. I normally travel with Oceania and found that Silversea is comparable. We found the staff very good, our butler Alex was wonderful, we enjoyed being able to have all the tips and liquor included. Being Canadian and our dollar not doing well the price was good . We opted out of their airfare program as we could not fly economy and their upgrade to business class was out of this world. Was not aware of the ballet at time of booking, and not being big ballet fans, we did attend one performance but would not be interested in doing another one. the stage is too small for such performances. Food was good, wish they offered a couple of more restaurants that we did not have to pay extra for.

we did take 3 of their shore excursions and found that they were a fair price, but we booked a lot of private ones ( not the private ones offered by the ship) but ones we searched out on the internet and made arrangements ourselves. We found them to be so much better. as we had a car and driver to ourselves and able to maneuver the sights so much easier.

Cabin Review

Veranda Suite

Cabin V6

Bed was comfy and room easily accomodated 3 adults. The gold and red tones a little outdated, but tons of room for all our clothes and necessities.

Port Reviews

Venice

Our plane arrived late so we did not have much time to spend in Venice. We had all been there before so not a problem. If you havent been I would suggest flying in a day or two earlier to take it all in

Zadar

Did not care for Zadar

Hvar

Loved this place, did the town on our own, took a cab up to the top of the monestary and back.

Santorini

visited Santorini and took a cab to Oia and the bus back. The cab was 50.00 euro and the bus was 1.80 very busy that day.
