Cabin: Balcony

Having cruised in April with an itinerary that included Dubrovnik and not being physically mobile to alight the ship we thought why not try Cunard with an itinerary including Dubrovnik. Unfortunately not the best start with a seven and a half hour flight delay from Manchester. Boarding the ship in Piraeus at nearly midnight we were finally settled into cabin 8093 . We had booked a 'guarantee' balcony BB cabin and were given BF grade which is a roomy disabled cabin. Tea and coffee making facilities are included complete with biscuits. Although the cabin was sheltered from direct sunshine it was still one of the best cabins we have been in.

The ship was full but you would never think so.

The dining experience is definitely for traditionalists with formal wear definitely the norm for the two formal nights and a jacket for non formal nights complete with shirt but not a tie.

Cabin Review

Cabin BF

Cabin very roomy ideally for wheel chair users. Balcony three times larger than most balcony cabins. Tea making facilities ,fridge and new soft furnishings.

Well presented by Larry our cabin steward.

Port Reviews

Argostoli (Kefalonia)

Pleasant coastline ,good shopping and many bars and cafes.

Walked the walls, very strenuous but there are bars/refreshments on the way around.

Views are stunning. There are Game of Thrones locations but the way the show is edited the areas will need to viewed with an open mind especially the round tower.

Athens (Piraeus)

No time to leave the ship

Our fifth visit and it is still so refreshing. Very busy although Queen Victoria was the only ship in port. Good bars and plenty to see.
