We did this cruise 10 years ago on the Carnival VIctory. Loved that ship! Our first disappointment was walking into our balcony room on 9. The balcony was in disrepair & the windows looking out were milky. You could see where the insulation between the glass was falling & it impaired the view greatly. We nearly always get balcony rooms and this was our first experience with the windows needing replacing. Plus the balcony was extremely rusty and in need of cleaning

For the most part the check in process went great from the luggage process to getting to check in desk. But the lady checking us in was apparently new, no personality and certainly did not know what she was doing. This took longer than us getting to the desk. Otherwise Carnivals check in process was great.

Upon arrival on the ship the person greeting us knew absolutely nothing about where to go to eat and nor was there anyone else to navigate us to the right area. Very poor

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8A

It was clean. The balcony was a HUGE disappointment. Milky window, rusty balcony. Considering we paid ore to have a balcony this was a HUGE disappointment. The weather was not good so looking out the window was huge. It was so milky it distorted the views. So very sad and so very disappointing

Port Reviews

Boston

We were a hour late getting in to port which put even later getting off the boat. Ate at the Yankee Lobster the Hot Lobster Roll is amazing as is the Lobster Bisque. Not enough time in this port. It is a shame we cannot arrive sooner

Halifax

Beautiful port area to walk around plus the museum was good
