This cruise could only fall short of expectations. Top groups all coming to us and staying onboard and joining for meals etc . IT DIDNT IT SURPASSED in every department,we had a ball the best holiday ever. Organised to perfection. We found the ship very stable considering the high winds we experienced, ( two tugs were needed to push against the wind to dock into Kirkwall) and the clusters of paper bags for the use of at the foot of the stairs at one stage were a bit alarming and as it happened an unnecessary. The menus for evening meal were excellent perhaps because they catered for mainly English tastes ( very little pasta ) more beef,lamb and fish with a variety of veg and some originality with salads.
