This cruise could only fall short of expectations. Top groups all coming to us and staying onboard and joining for meals etc . IT DIDNT IT SURPASSED in every department,we had a ball the best holiday ever. Organised to perfection. If Rock the Boat comes around again on Magellan don't miss it she's built and staffed for the best time ever. We found the ship very stable considering the high winds we experienced, ( two tugs were needed to push against the wind to dock into Kirkwall) and the clusters of paper bags for the use of at the foot of the stairs at one stage were a bit alarming and as it happened an unnecessary. The menus for evening meal were excellent perhaps because they catered for mainly English tastes ( very little pasta ) more beef, lamb and fish with a variety of veg and some originality with salads. Embarkation was very smart from car park to shipand disembarkation at Newcastle was well organised and quickly accomplished to the schedule notes delivered to the cabin the preceding day. So all

Cabin Review

Cabin Inside double

We came for the entertainment so as long as the cabin was clean and showed t.l.c and we were well looked after by the steward we were going to be happy . Passed with honours .

Port Reviews

Portree (Isle of Skye)

What could have been a beautiful scenic tour was accompanied by torrential rain and high winds no bodies fault . Rated as if the sun was shining

Liverpool

So surprised!, great city ( obviously not been before ) ended up gobsmacked in the Cathedral

Invergordon (Inverness)

They sell Guinness there.

Nice for a walk and there's an interesting museum and I was impressed with the size of the oil rigs
