Had never been to Alaska and wanted to visit Glacier Bay. This covered a very small part of AK but got to see lots of scenery and learn Alaskan history. The day in Glacier Bay was one of the highlights. NPS Rangers did a great job. We had great weather on this day. Saw bear, goats, moose, eagles, seals even a camp site. On our stops in Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan we visited the NPS NFS venues, these places had ranger lead talks which were very informative also movies about the area. Kendall Glacier was very crowded, however the sites in Sitka and Ketchikan were not. Would have liked more time in Victoria. Loved the Eurodam, crew were very helpful, everyone had a smile.Food was very good. Liked the MDR best as I'm partial to having someone plan and serve my meals. Ate in the Lido a couple of times. Liked that the table was set and u did not have to wander around looking for silverware. Had room service for coffee some morning. They were prompt and followed up with a phone call asking if everything was OK. Room stewards kept our rooms clean and were available for questions. Music Walk was entertaining, something for every musical taste. Saw 1 production show 1000 steps brilliant. The BBC Alaska Movie, set to music with the Lincoln Center and Eurodam musicians was Awesome, do not miss this production. Had our luggage sent straight to the airport from the ship, great. We got our boarding passes the day before and walked off the ship and spent the morning in Seattle. Got the light rail to the airport. 45 minutes $3:00 bargain.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom
Cabin VB 4136
Good location, aft. Near elevator but quite. Cabin crew
Helpful. We like to walk most of the ship by taking the stairs. This cabin was 2 floors from MDR open seating.
