This was our seventh time on Oceania, and we always enjoy these smaller ships. This time, the food, service and entertainment were all better than on our previous Oceania cruise. The itinerary was very interesting (New York / New York via New England, Nova Scotia and Bermuda). The shore excursions on Oceania are really expensive compared to other cruise lines, but we were able to go independently.
The cabin ('stateroom') seemed a little tired, with chipped veneer and failing hinges, in need of refurbishment and bringing up to date. The bed seemed less comfortable than on previous Oceania cruises - I wonder whether they are still doing the 'tranquility' mattresses that were always so comfortable in the past. We also had trouble booking the speciality restaurants, with the only available slots being 9pm as the restaurants were getting ready to close, but with the main dining room being so good, we were happy to eat there instead.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable cruise and we met some great people. We would do it again.
