We chose Breakaway because the amenities being offered by the line plus those offered by our travel agent made it a great fit since we have been targeting Bermuda for a while. The ship itself is not laid out very well, but we knew this ahead of time having sailed on Getaway. Service, food, drinks and weather all met or exceeded expectations. Entertainment was definitely geared toward a different type. We have never felt that excessive swearing and raunchiness were really "entertainment". TV in the cabin would continuously lose service but didn't really matter. 8 channels of shipboard activities, 5 channels devoted to news (all of it on hurricane Harvey) 1 channel of TV shows, 1 for movies and 1 for sports (tennis or soccer). We enjoyed all of our excursions which we booked through NCL. Day 1 was a tour of Bermuda which gave us a great background of The island. Day 2 was an evening cruise into the Triangle, and Day 3 was a relaxing morning at the beach before leaving.

There were three areas of the trip we were disappointed with.

Embarkation - the first passengers boarded after 12 noon. Enough said.
