The Viking Sky, her crew and the passenger service staff combined to provide a superlative cruise experience. We are so glad we jumped "cruise ships" to Viking. Every aspect of the experience from meals and excursions to ship cleanliness/maintenance and airport transfers were well thought out and executed by professional, caring staff. We felt good enough about the experience that we cancelled a couple of booked cruises on another line and booked similar itineraries with Viking.

The ship is well-designed with none of the over-crowded feeling we experienced on another line. No lines for meals or off-loading for excursions. The public areas feel like those in a 5-star resort and are designed such that the noise level is far less than other ships.

Meals are truly a cut above. Lots of fresh seafood, and menu items fit for Michelin rated restaurants. there is no added charge for specialty restaurants. Read more
