I have been on 7 cruises before, mostly Celebrity and Princess but the Norwegian Spirit cruise was the very best. The staff treat you as special guests and small things like 'Animal towels' in your cabin in the evenings made it extra special. We ate at Windows for 7 nights but also at 3 speciality restaurants and which we rated Cagney's the best. all the food we ate was high quality. The restaurant, bar and cabin service was excellent. Breakfast in Windows meant less rush and we preferred this rather than the Buffet. The shows were also excellent and the entertainment better than other cruise ships I have been on.

We had the drinks package and felt that this was good value. our cabin mid ship deck 9 was in a perfect position for access to restaurants, elevators and lounges.

Only 2 things we feel that need to be looked at. The first is the special deal on watches. We brought 2 sets of watches, one for my wife and the other for myself. My wife wore hers the very next day on the cruise and the straps started fraying. We returned them to the store for other watches but we felt that the watch special was a rip off. I wore my new watch when I returned to New Zealand and the winding knob fell off after one day. The watches are rubbish and Norwegian Cruise should stop the shop on board from selling such junk.
