Evening Sky

We had a three generation cruise so it was important to avoid flying for too many hours, as such Mediterranean was a logical choice for us. We arrived in Rome's Fiumicino airport. A real messy place. We had ordered assistance for my mother that did not appear. Her suitcase was also missing as such we had to stand for nearly one hour in order to fix this problem. It arrived the same evening, but they made us go to the airport to pick it up as they were unable to make sure we got it before boarding the ship the following day! Customer Service absolutely absent (not that this is any of Celebrity's fault). We stayed at a small hotell near Civitavecchia, nice location, good service and free shuttle to the ship, Great.

Embarkation was a breeze, we got on board, our luggage came relatively fast to our staterooms. All good.

WE like the food on board, both the Ocean View Cafe, the MDG and the four specialty restaurants we tried, Murano, Tuscan, Qsine and Lawn Bar grille.

I love the aft views, even though you can experience some soot. This view is just the greatest.
